HOW TO DO A MEDITATION ON CANCER WITH CONSCIOUS BREATHING

THINGS YOU NEED TO HAVE FIRMLY  IN MIND FROM THE START

 

BELIEF

If you believe that by getting your conscious mind onside is going to be of help to you during the process of managing your cancer, then this is for you.

It is based on some simple facts.

In the preface of their 1986 book, The Healing Brain - Robert Ornstein and David Sobel, stated “the brain minds the body”.  They wrote of the pharmacy within - “the continuous flow of chemical messages, neurotransmitters and neurohormones -  produced and secreted by the brain to organs that require them - where the brain is able to control precisely the dosage and timing of the release of it s own drugs to maximise specific desired effects and minimise side effects”.

It is a belief that needs to be acknowledged and reinforced each and every day and which hugely empowers you.  It is based on the idea that you can influence what is happening inside you at the cellular level, by creating a healthy cellular environment hostile to cancer growth. And by directing what you have ingested in the form of antioxidants, anti-cancer agents, food supplements and other healthy, life-enhancing nutrients to the location of your cancer, giving your immune system more time to create a larger number of white blood cells to naturally eliminate  your cancer, without any negative side effects.

 

DISCIPLINE

To do this requires discipline.

Try to practise your BodyMind - read Meditation -  exercise every day.

It is a discipline that will give you inner strength that you will need to deal with the demons that will arise in your mind from time to time, that are based on fear of the outcome of your condition.  

An outcome that is mostly being managed by you and your relationship with yourself and your illness, that for the moment, is a part of you.

It will inspire great strength of character, will and resolution that will help you to deal with this illness and it is the single most important thing to help get you through each day.  If you miss a session one day - be sure not to miss one the next day.

Within reason, such as going away for the odd weekend or going on holiday for a few weeks - you will find you miss a few sessions.

Get back to them as soon as you are in a position to manage your time once again.

 

CONSCIOUS BREATHING

How to do conscious breathing is key to raising your levels of concentration that you will need in order to engage your conscious mind on your meditation for up to 20 minutes at a time.  It is also an important method of raising oxygen levels in the blood and inducing a deep sense of calm in you as levels of serotonin are also raised, triggered off by the vagus nerve, one of two long cranial nerves connected to the Gastro Intestinal Tract, where up to 80% of your serotonin is housed.

NUTRITION

You will need to introduce and follow an optimum nutrition protocol on a daily basis.

At the forefront of this protocol is the elimination or reduction of all known cancer growth promoters and the introduction of a range of nutrients that will prove to be hostile to the growth of your cancer and will act as a huge daily boost to your immune system, prividing it with more time to produce more white blood cells to help to destroy cancer cells and cancer stem cells.

ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY

You need to know as much as you can about your cancer.

Where it is - its anatomical location.  What is it doing?  How fast is it growing?

What feeds it and what do I need to do to slow it down?  And so on…

You will need a working anatomical knowledge of the location of your cancer along with a basic understanding of the physiology of your cancer at the cellular level and its disease pathway.

Images are easily available online and you need to get the rest of this information from your oncologist or medical team.
